Xi’an International Medical Center — Premium Medical Furniture Project

Project Background

Xi’an International Medical Center (西安国际医学中心) is a flagship international-standard private hospital in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, designed to deliver premium healthcare services to international and high-net-worth domestic patients. The facility combines the clinical scope of a Grade III hospital with the accommodation and service standards of a luxury hotel. ZHOBAI Medical Furniture was appointed to deliver the clinical furniture programme across VIP suites, premium wards, nursing stations, and sterile support areas.

The project required two distinct furniture programmes operating in parallel: a premium patient-facing furniture range in warm, high-specification finishes for VIP suites and private wards; and a full stainless steel programme for sterile storage areas, treatment rooms, and medication preparation zones. ZHOBAI’s manufacturing capability — spanning both bespoke medical-grade panel furniture and all-stainless fabrication — allowed both streams to be produced in-house under a single purchase order, with coordinated delivery and installation.

Scope of Supply

ZHOBAI delivered a fully coordinated furniture package manufactured in-house to GB/T medical-grade standards, with CE and ISO 13485 documentation at handover:

• VIP Suite & Premium Ward Furniture: Electric-adjustment hospital beds in premium finishes, co-ordinated bedside cabinets, over-bed tables, and escort chairs — specified to hotel-adjacent aesthetic standards while meeting Grade III clinical requirements.
• Stainless Steel Sterile Cabinets: Full-height 304 stainless steel sterile storage cabinets with glass-fronted double doors, adjustable shelving, and tamper-evident locking — for treatment rooms and sterile preparation areas.
• Stainless Steel Medication Trolleys: Fully welded 304 stainless steel medication and treatment carts with silent-roll castors, drawer locks, and stainless work surfaces.
• Nursing Stations: Custom-built counter systems in premium surface materials, with integrated medication storage, dual-zone workflow separation, and anti-collision rounded edges.
• Waiting & Reception Areas: Premium waiting chairs and reception counters finished to match the hospital’s international interior design specification.
