Project Background
Qingchuan County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital (青川县中医院) is the primary public TCM hospital for Qingchuan County, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province — a remote mountain county in northern Sichuan. A facility upgrade in 2024 required a comprehensive TCM furniture fit-out covering inpatient wards, TCM treatment rooms, the acupuncture department, herbal dispensary, and outpatient clinics. ZHOBAI Medical Furniture was selected as the one-stop furniture partner.
The remote mountain location of Qingchuan County presented particular logistical challenges for furniture delivery — a long transport distance from ZHOBAI’s manufacturing base, with complex mountain road access. ZHOBAI’s logistics team managed end-to-end delivery from factory to site, with on-site installation coordinated with the hospital’s fit-out programme. The furniture specification combined standard medical ward furniture with bespoke TCM clinical furniture tailored to the hospital’s traditional Chinese medicine workflows.
Scope of Supply
ZHOBAI delivered a fully coordinated furniture package manufactured in-house to GB/T medical-grade standards, with CE and ISO 13485 documentation at handover:
- Inpatient Ward Furniture: Hospital beds with adjustable backrest, co-ordinated bedside cabinets, over-bed tables, folding escort chairs, and IV stands across all ward room types.
- TCM Treatment Tables: Adjustable-height treatment tables for acupuncture, tuina, and moxibustion — padded surfaces in antibacterial PU material.
- Herbal Dispensary Counters: Custom multi-drawer herb-storage counters with integrated scale platforms and double-sided service windows.
- Nursing Stations: Custom-built counter systems with integrated medication storage, dual-zone workflow separation, and anti-collision rounded edges.
- TCM Outpatient Clinics: TCM consultation workstations and waiting-area seating in traditional Chinese design colourways.
- Sterile & Treatment Rooms: Floor-to-ceiling medical cabinet systems elevated 200 mm above floor, dressing trolleys, and preparation counters.
