Leshan High-Tech Zone Hospital — Nursing Station Fit-Out

Project Background

Leshan High-Tech Zone Hospital serves the medical needs of residents and industrial employees across the Leshan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Sichuan Province. In early 2024, ZHOBAI Medical Furniture completed a comprehensive nursing station fit-out across all inpatient floors, delivering custom-dimensioned counter systems, medication storage units, and treatment room furniture that brought the hospital’s clinical workspace up to modern Grade II standards.

The nursing station project required close coordination with the hospital’s phased handover schedule — with new floors commissioned sequentially while existing wards remained in operation. ZHOBAI’s project team managed each floor’s installation within a tight overnight window to avoid disrupting active patient care. Every nursing station counter was custom-built to match the as-built floor plate dimensions, incorporating integrated wiring ducts for call-system and network cabling, pop-up power sockets, and built-in medication preparation zones with sliding privacy screens.

Scope of Supply

ZHOBAI delivered a fully coordinated furniture package covering every clinical and administrative zone, manufactured in-house to GB/T medical-grade standards. All products were supplied with CE certification and ISO 13485 quality documentation at handover:

• Nursing Station Counters: Custom-dimensioned L-shaped and curved counter systems with integrated medication storage bays, clean/contaminated zone separation, built-in cable management, and anti-collision rounded edges — specified and installed across all nursing floors.
• Medication Preparation Rooms: Dedicated preparation counter units with lockable medicine drawers, narcotic-safe double-lock storage, and under-counter refrigerator housings.
• Treatment Room Furniture: Treatment preparation counters, sterile dressing trolleys, examination couches, and floor-to-ceiling medical cabinet systems with double-door sterile storage.
• Corridor & Support Furniture: Mobile medicine trolleys, instrument carts, soiled linen trolleys, and nursing logistic support furniture deployed throughout all clinical corridors.

Project Highlights

• Zone-Specific Customisation: Each floor’s nursing station was individually dimensioned from on-site measurement; curved reception-side counter profiles were custom-fabricated to match the architectural radius at each nursing core.
• Antibacterial & Durable Materials: All work surfaces in medical-grade Trespa board rated for chemical disinfectant exposure; stainless-steel insets at high-traffic points; powder-coated steel frames on all mobile units.
• Phased Installation: Installation was scheduled floor-by-floor in overnight shifts to avoid disruption to operating wards — all 10 floors completed within the contracted programme without a single patient-care interruption.
• End-to-End Delivery: ZHOBAI managed survey, design, manufacturing, delivery, and installation with a single project manager — no sub-contractors, no handover delays.
